Frequently asked questions.
What is Microneedling?
Microneedling is an innovate non-invasive but extremely effective rejuvenation treatment which harnesses your skin's natural ability to repair itself. Using very tiny needles to puncture the surface of the skin, it stimulates a healing response, causing your skin to kickstart its collagen and elastin production. Visually improving fine lines, dehydrated skin, tone and texture.
Does it hurt?
No, the needles are targeted and are less invasive than other skin needling techniques.
What skin care routine do you recommend afterwards?
Your technician will give you a tailor made programme of aftercare which will boost results and offer you a long lasting solution to your skin concerns.
Why is MesoME different to derma rolling?
MesoME is less invasive; we do not need to use numbing creams on the skin which means better absorption of the products. The contoured needle head means we can be more specific in your treatments and work in more delicate areas. MesoME can target the under eye area. This treatment uses the Cell Biologique skincare range with hyaluronic acid infused Jouvance serum topically to penetrate into the treated area.
How will I look at the end of the treatment?
There is very little downtime with this treatment. You will look red immediately after but this will subside within 24hrs. The skin starts healing immediately - there will be a noticeable difference within 2 treatments. You may experience some mild peeling.
This is very normal as the dehydrated skin leaves the stratum comeum.
How far apart are the treatments?
Treatments should be carried out at least 2 days apart allowing time for the skin rejuvenation cycle to be complete. A series of 6-8 treatments are recommended, followed by a monthly treatment if desired.
How soon after Botox and Fillers can I have a MesoME treatment?
With Botox and fillers it is best to leave at least 21 days after a treatment before starting MesoME.
